Hi. I am a 28 years old international student from Venezuela. I have a degree in Industrial Engineering and basically I came to Canada for immigration purposes with my boyfriend. We were in Toronto for around year and a half improving our english skills and attending college, then he moved to Newfoundland to start a new college course and after 3 months I arrived to Newfoundland following him to continue pursuing our personal and professional goals.
Currently he's attending Keyin College and working there too, and I am looking for a job that allow me to help him and keep saving money for our further education.
I could apply for any other kind of jobs but I rather to get a job as nanny/babysitter because I like kids, I truly enjoy to spend time with them plus I have been doing it since a while ago.
I used to take care of one of my nieces (1 year old/back in my country) during her mom's working extra hours and I worked in Toronto for a couple of families taking care of their kids. My duties were supervision when parents absence, prepare light meals or some baby bottles, help for bath time and spend some entertainment time with them in general. Additionally, I helped with light housekeeping and running errands.
Knowing that taking care and supervising kids is a big responsibility I must say I am quite disciplined and punctual. Also a person who likes music, visual art, books and spending time outdoor so I am eager to find a family which allow me to share my hobbies with their kids.
I would like you to know that I am looking for a great opportunity to work learning and enjoying the Canadian culture while getting an income that help me pursue my dreams and if you truly understand that I promise to help you as much as I can with your kids or everything you need.
