Dear family. Thank you for considering me to become a part of your team! I have a big heart for children and a strong determination to accomplish any challenge or task laid before me. I come from a farm east of Winnipeg, where I've grown up with five siblings. I have a total of seven siblings, all of which are younger than me, and this life experience holds the huge sum of my experiences working with children. Given the large age gape (4-17 years difference), Ive had the opportunity to be a part of their upbringing. For about 7 years, I have been my mother's helper for my 5 siblings, including disabilities such as; Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Asthma, Severe life-threatening allergies, and deafness. The age range of my siblings and my experience of care include 0months- 15years. At this time, I help them with their homeschooling programs, teaching my four year old sister how to read and write, and slowly teaching them how to do little household chores (eg. make bed). I am a creative thinker, a fast learner, and responsible person, who would be honoured to help.
