Hello! My name is Kesslyn Lycan and I have recently graduated with my French Immersion diploma from Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School this past June. I am currently looking for a full time position while I contemplate which career path I choose to follow in post-secondary education. My experiences in child care include: babysitting, spending many summers entertaining my many young cousins and sibling. This past spring I had the opportunity to be the head coach of the Selkirk Sonics girls 12u basketball team. In high school I took the family studies course and learned all about child care and had the chance to work in the nursery at school. Throughout my junior high and high school career I played on many sports teams including hockey, basketball, track and volleyball. During this time I was able to maintain my grades as well as being involved in school committees. Also for the past two years I've worked part time at the Co-op gas station in Selkirk where I was responsible for the opening and closing of the store. I have many duties which include being a key holder and trainer for new employees. I am a very positive role model who exhibits a high level of energy and I look forward to working with children.
