My name is Karly, I am 19 years old. I have lived in the same house in Walnut Grove since I was born. I attended West Langley elementary school and graduated from Walnut Grove Secondary in June 2013. Currently I live with my Mom and Dad. I have an older brother who is 22 and living on his own in Vancouver. I have a large extended family that I am close to that live in the Lower Mainland and a set of Grandparents that live in Parksville. I am a responsible, kind, compassionate, fair-minded person. I consider myself reasonable and trustworthy. I enjoy the outdoors, and recreational activities along with camping, going for walks, and being near the water. I have played softball and have just finished playing 14 years of Hockey with the Langley Girls Ice Hockey Association. I enjoy cooking and baking and am starting to pick up interests in arts and crafts. I am very interested in being a nanny as I Iove taking care of children. I have been babysitting since I was twelve, and was employed at a child minding center and at a local gym. I have taken a first aid course and will be re-certifying first aid and CPR. I am currently working part time at Wendels in Fort Langley, but am looking for full time work doing something that I love, therefore my attention was directed into being a nanny. Looking to the future I am considering a couple of options with both leading me to my ultimate goal of working, in some capacity, with children and families.
