Hello my name is Debbie, I have approximately 3 years of experience working with seniors and special needs seniors and other individuals. I am volunteering as a Care Associate with our Church Ministry where we attend senior care living centres and spend quality time with them for an hour each time we are available. I enjoy taking care of people especially seniors. I am very nurturing and enjoy helping them to maintain their independence. My experience has been live in care 24 hours a day for 4 days and 3 days off where I was privileged to take care of 6 individual special needs they ranged in ages from 24-65. It was a family setting we ate meals together, shopped, cleaned the house and did outside activities. My hobbies are yoga, reading and spending quality time with friends and family. I have tried hard to receive schooling in this career but each time the course in Moose Jaw has been cancelled so that is why I would like to live in Regina. I am originally from Ontario and I have a completed a degree in sociology. I hope to continue this career path. Debbie
