Hi my name is Cierra, I am currently a fourth year student at St. Francis Xavier University and will be graduating this coming May. My studies are focused in Psychology and French, with special attention to child development. The past four consecutive summers I was employed by the Boys & Girls Club of Summerside, where I was a group leader for children who came to summer camp. At the club we played many sports, created crafts, read books, and went on weekly field trips, and entertained ourselves with many more activities on a daily basis. I have been extremely involved in sports all of my life, they are my biggest hobby, although I do greatly enjoy a good read.
I believe I get along so well with children because I am a nice, genuine individual with a kind heart. I am able to be responsible for the children I take care of, but I can still maintain a child-like personality to ensure their utmost happiness. I am an aspiring school psychologist, but in order to get where I want to be I plan on completing my bachelor of education first. As you can see, my future revolves entirely around children. It would give me no greater pleasure than to be able to interact with children on a daily basis this summer. :)
