I am an Early Childhood Educator who is very passionate about working with children. I have a university degree in Child and Youth Studies from Mount Saint Vincent University which gave me the opportunity to work in different fields including day care, elementary school and with Childlife at the IWK. I continued my education and received a degree in Elementary Education. I went on the work with grades Primary to Seven. Over the past year I have been working in a day care setting with infants (approx. 10 months) to pre-school age children (4-5). I grew up in a very warm, loving, family oriented home. I believe this has brought me up to be very responsible and also very compassionate and caring. I am now a mother who would love to be able to find employment in which my daughter could come with me. I enjoy swimming, reading and creating fun crafts/experiments to do with children. I love going to parks, museums, movies and really I am just a big kid at heart.
