    Hi everyone! My name is Sofia and I live, work and attend school in Vancouver. I volunteer with Vancouver Coastal Health where, once a week, I help a mother and her baby (aged 10 months now but started when he was 4 months old). I have also volunteered looking after children at a community centre where I helped with their homework, played and organized games with them and helped serve meals. I am very patient and compassionate when it comes to children and just enjoy spending time around them. I own a couple of cats but am very comfortable around dogs and other small or large pets (not so fond of spiders though). Currently I am studying towards my bachelor of social work and already have my CPR/First Aid certificate. My current job requires me to handle food so I also have my Food Safe certificate as well.

    I am available a few mornings before noon as well as several evenings but always try to be as flexible as I can with scheduling.
