I have recently moved to Vancouver on a gap year from London, England. At 22 having just completed a masters degree in London, I am taking a year out before entering into full time work in my chosen field. I have visited Vancouver several times both to work at a summer camp in Gibsons and on a trip with my family, and have gotten to know the city well. I am an active, fun loving person who loves being around and working with children. Vancouver has so much to offer a developing child from natural wonders in Stanley Park to cultural heritage displayed in the Vancouver Art Gallery. I pride myself on teaching good manners, correct grammar and emphasising the importance of personal hygiene i.e. hand washing in a fun way. I believe in the importance of structure especially with children; I plan on developing weekly schedules of activities to do in the week, this will both keep me organised and will give your child / children a greater sense of security and ease anxiety. I have recently accepted a live-in nannying position in North Vancouver. I work in the early afternoons into the evenings. I am looking to find some morning and weekend work on the North Shore.
