About Me
Originally from California, I was introduced to Montreal by my extended family, who still lives within the city. I attended Concordia University from 2010 to 2014, ultimately receiving a BFA in Film Studies. After going back to California for the summer and fall, I have decided to relocate to Montreal, as I have grown very attached to the city.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children. For the past three summers I have worked in a summer camp called Steve and Kate's Camp. The camp's philosophy revolves around encouraging the campers to engage in self-directed learning in order to reach their potential. Through my experiences with the camp, I have been able to cultivate skills in dealing with children with varying personalities. Though the camp's age range was 4-12, I also have experience caring for infants as young as 4 months up to 3 years.
I enjoy spending time outside and taking explorative walks within the neighbourhood, as well as working on small projects inside. I am a punctual, responsible, flexible, and up-beat individual who likes spending time with children and getting to see the world through their eyes.
I am looking for an opportunity to build a continued relationship with a family, either full or part time. Additionally, I am certified in adult/infant CPR. Although I live near the Sherbrooke and Decarie intersection, I am comfortable with the public transportation system Montreal offers and am not limited to any particular area of the city.
I look forward to speaking with you.- Education: Undergraduate degree
