My name is Laura and welcome to Helpful Hands Child Care.
In this time of the unknown, I'd like to put your mind at ease by providing your child with a fun, safe, reliable, nurturing home away from home. Where he or she can make new friends, learn, grow and explore.
My child care is a home based setting where you can bring your child and feel complete trust that he or she is in a safe, loving environment.
Building a trusting relationship and repor with the parents and children is first priority, so let me tell you a bit about myself.
I have two amazing daughters 5 and 6.
I have had a successful, rewarding career by providing compassionate care to many individuals.
8.5 years experience as a PSW providing exceptional quality care to elders and private care to children with challenging behaviours.
I have decided to provide parents with reassurance and reliability so they can continue working to provide for their families during this hard time.
My love for children and my adventureous, soft and genuine personality, will be a true asset to your childs growth and development.
Being in this rewarding profession for many years i am extremely attentive to each childs unique individual needs.

Safety Measures:
- Please Sanitize hands before entering home ( will be provided outside front door upon entry)
- Each child will have a labeled bin with their name to keep all personal belongings together and separate from others.
- Many hand washing breaks
- Home and toys disinfected daily

Credentials:
- Certified Personal Support Worker
- CPR/First Aid
- Sanitizing Disinfectant Certificate

My home is in Lindsay, Nestled in a beautiful new subdivision behind Canadian Tire on a large corner lot and a fully fenced backyard with lots of toys.
The area is a quiet retiree neighborhood.
There are 2 parks within a 5 minute walking distance and a little pond to feed ducks and go on adventure walks.
All amenities are near by in case you need to stop somewhere before picking up your child to minimize exposure in store.

I will have spaces available starting November 2nd. Providing exceptional care to all ages, infants, toddlers, preschool, before and after school as well as potential overnight care for night shift workers.
