Hi my name is Sara; I’m 20 years old and Im from Australia. I recently graduated from the University of Guelph in Ontario and I'm looking to find a family in Vancouver to nanny their children. I recently graduated with a bachelor of business with a major in Event Management and Marketing. I'm a fun, sensible young girl and I'm extremely organised and punctual (In most cases I’m at least 10-5 min early). I graduated in 2010 from Perth College (elite private girl school, in Australia) and I've always loved kids and I have been babysitting my neighbours since I was 14. I have just recently left a family after two year of babysitting their mentally disabled child three times a week. I have also had work experience at Kindergartens at both private schools and public. Kids seem to warm to me as I’m not threatening being only 5’2 and I have quite a kind and loving personality. I have done primary, kindergarten and day-care pickups and drop off at sporting and co-curricular activities for a few semesters for different families. I love to cook and I can cook healthy and yummy meals that kids like to eat. I’m prepared to bath the kids and get them ready for bed and tidy the house up. I'm strict but fair when it comes to discipline and I’m a strong believer in ‘time outs’. I also have my Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion, Royal Life Saving Resuscitation, Aus Swim Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate. I would be fine to take the kids to the pool and if wanted I could teach them how to swim in the family pool.
