    Hi everyone!

    My name is Amy and I am a 22 year-old recent university graduate looking for a live-out Nanny position in Edmonton. I was born and raised in Kamloops, BC and am looking to relocate to Edmonton now that I have obtained my Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology.

    I absolutely adore children and hope to find a great family I can assist with childcare. Although I have not officially been employed as a Nanny in the past, I do have extensive experience with children. I spent most of my teenage years babysitting youth from infancy to pre-teen age. I also come from a rather large family, where I have frequently been entrusted with the care of my younger cousins. Finally, over the past two and a half years, I have been the Director of the EUReKA! Science Program run out of Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops (similar to DiscoverE at U of A). Here I acted as "Principal" to the campers, helping them work through any issues or behavioural problems that arose throughout the week or acting as a caring ear when they needed to talk.

    I love to read, sing, and bake, all of which I would be happy to do with your children! Because of my job with EUReKA!, I also have quite a few at-home science experiments up my sleeve. I'm happy to spend the day at the park, the pool, playing in the snow, or finding other entertaining activities for your kids. I am also available for light housing keeping, meal preparation, errands, and taking your children to any appointments or activities, as I have a license and my own vehicle. I am also certified in Emergency First Aid.

      I had the opportunity to work with and learn from Amy for 8 months at a science summer camp. In this time I realized Amy is extremely hardworking and dedicated to her work. She always went above and beyond to ensure everything was done well and in a timely fashion. Watching her interact with children proved to me she is extremely passionate about making a difference in their lives and about being a positive role model for them.
