I have been surrounded with children since I was very young myself, and have volunteered throughout University with young children. I have a degree in Psychology and Criminology, and have recently left my job as a YMCA Pre-Kindergarten Educator in Edmonton Alberta to pursue a new career in Vancouver. I have been described by my previous director as extremely kind and caring, and I like to think the same. I love children and have had very positive and meaningful interactions with many of the students in my previous positions, as well as in my personal life. I have an Early Childhood Educator 5 yr+ License and have ambition to pursue a career in Art Therapy to help children with developmental delays and social-emotional troubles.

I enjoy the outdoors, and was a large reason for moving provinces. I like traveling when the opportunity arises and is appropriate timing with work and family. I am very invested in art and creative pursuits. I like to combine these two passions (nature and art) to come up with very fun learning activities and opportunities for children. I enjoy photography, writing, technology, yoga, nutrition & cooking, and swimming.

I am 25 years old and possess a valid drivers license, First Aid & CPR. I have lots of energy, a happy and positive outlook, and ability to be very spontaneous and flexible when it comes to interacting with children/youth.
